ACEO: Art Card, Edition, Original. ACEOs are tiny artworks (exactly 2.5 x 3.5 inches) and, as the name implies, they can be prints or originals. Mine are all originals.
I just learned about Zentangles recently. (See zentangle.com if you haven't yet!) I love making ATCs and have done some of this with my 7th grade art students (I'm a junior high art teacher.) I really like this in the green. AND you've inspired me to make some ACEOs, as well! Thanks for the (unbeknownst to you) encouragement!!
Wow, AnnieK, glad you stopped by! Yes, I have seen Zentangles - they're wonderful to make and quite inspiring. And so are ACEOs! How cool that you're making them with your students.
